If someone had said to me a year ago that in one year I would enjoy exercise, I wouldn’t have believed them. I have struggled with my weight for many years and have done diet after diet but haven’t stuck at any of them! My friend invited me to Jayne’s bootcamp and at first, I was nervous, but from the first one, I knew Jayne could help me reach my goals. Right from my first bootcamp, Jayne has supported and encouraged me, but most importantly, she has believed in me and she has made me believe in myself. Having never and I really do mean never done any form of exercise in my life not even at school I didn’t have very high expectations of having a personal trainer and what they would be able to help me achieve. I knew that I needed someone to motivate me to get fit and tone up in less than 2 months before I turned the big 40. Jayne was very mindful of my level of fitness or lack of it and fully understood that for me any exercise needed to be short as I didn’t have any stamina, not even enough to jog for more than 1 and a half minutes. She has put lots of work into making our sessions together tailored towards me and still manages to keep pushing me further and help me achieve better and better results.After my first 12 sessions with Jayne my body shape had changed so dramatically that I began to see muscle tone and definition in my shape that I have never had before and what is even more unexpected is that I have begun to enjoy exercise. I have gone from a very unfit size 16 to a toned size 12. I can even run for 15 minutes, quite happily. I have now signed up for my third block of sessions and miraculously managed to make a fitness routine part of my life. Jayne has set me realistic goals which I have managed to achieve and yet still keeps our sessions fresh and still keeps pushing me which is exactly what I need. I started working with Jayne for a number of reasons. 1. After an active factory jobs for the past few years I have spent the last 18 months in an office and had developed a fair sized beer-belly. Not a good look! 2. I often felt 'lost' in the gym and didn't really know what I was doing. This made the gym boring and frustrating very quickly. Finally, 3. I had just joined a football team and after a couple of years out of the game my speed, stamina and general fitness had all plummeted.After just a few short weeks there was a noticeable difference in my on pitch performance and after around two months my friends, family and colleagues were all complementing me on my new fantastic shape! I had even completed a handful of 5k and 10k races and have now just entered this years Great North Run! Jayne deserves at least half of the credit for all of this.Jayne's sessions are always very enjoyable. No two have been the same and she constantly pushes me to work hard. She is also adaptive and if something is not working she has the skills and knowledge to change it around to my benefit. If you are looking for a Personal Trainer then I can't recommend her highly enough.
